The loose and long cut of this ferace is suitable for hijab; however, as the fabric is a weave predominantly made of 80% Polyester, it may not breathe sufficiently in the intense heat of Mecca and Medina. Additionally, the sequin details on the pockets and cuffs make practical carrying difficult and can be easily damaged in crowded Umrah environments.
